Feb. 14, 1939 – July 8, 2019 (Age 80)

Aster O George, 80, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Aster resided in the Albany area for many years. He retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service and the Civil Service after 22 years. He attended Sunnyside Baptist Church, which he so enjoyed. Aster loved spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included bowling, square dancing and karaoke. Aster will be loved and missed more than words can explain.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen G Wynn of Albany, two grandchildren, Darren T George of Albany, Brittany D Dervan of Leesburg, and two great-grandchildren Ryleigh Dervan and Remington Potts.

Per Aster's request, there will be no service.
