Donney King

The staff and management of   J.L. Litman Memorial Funeral Service is saddened to announce the earthly transition of  Mr. Donney “BIG DONNEY” King . The Celebration of Life Service will take place Saturday, September 30,2023 at 2 P.M. at New St. James Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be held in the New St. James Baptist Church Cemetery, 947 Camp Osborn Road, Oakfield, Georgia.

Mr. Donney King was born on March 12, 1960, to the late Thomas Ausby and Ella Mae King. He was a lifelong resident of Albany. He graduated from Doughtery High School.

He worked and retired from the City of Albany Sanitation Division.

Mr. Donney King is preceded in death by his parents. Grandparents; Elnorah King, and Clearence King. Two brothers; Melvin Ernest Ausby, and Kenny King.

He leaves to mourn but to cherish his memories, four kids by Mary Frazier- Simmons; Donney Frazier (Sheratte), Monique Frazier, Ella Frazier (LaToya), Eva

Edmonds (Andrew). Eight grandkids; Ke’Shuntis Vicks, Dontrelle Vicks Jr., De’haven Frazier, Ken’Nyria Boston, Zy’Kierra Daniels, Re’Shaud Frazier, Madison Zackery, and Malachi Edmonds. Stepmother; Helen Ausby Sister-n-laws; Mary McCray, Sharon Morman,and Brenda Lewis all of Albany Ga Six Sisters; Marilyn Walters-Bell of Leesburg Ga, Linda Montgomery (Wilbert) of Clearmont FL., Annie Coleman, Martha King, Gwendlyn Roberts all of New Jersey, Stella King of Atlanta Ga. Two brothers; Jerry King (Gloria Dean), and Terry King (Jacqueline) of Albany
Ga. Two special aunts; Martha Corhen of Albany and Pauline Ausby. Special cousin; Joyce Polite of Albany Ga. Four special friends; Phyllis Edwards, Teresa Starling, Essie Lee Hosley, Annie Ruth all of Albany Ga. Along with a host of other special nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
