Mother Catherine Woolbright

Mother Catherine "May" Woolbright was born December 25,1935 to the late Sam Simon and Ida Simon in Worth County, Georgia. She was educated in the Worth County School System. Catherine accepted Christ at an early age. She was the Mother of New Morning Star Baptist Church!

On Monday March 17,2025 Catherine peacefully departed this life. She was preceded in death by husband Wilmer Woolbright; two sons, Willie Lindsey, Ned Woolbright;  five brothers, Darthey Simon, Henry Simon, Kevin Simon, MC Simon, Joe Simon; three sisters, Nettie King, Francis Simon, Della Jenkins which all she loved dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Ladala Woolbright, Ida Woolbright, Wilma Woolbright; one son, Wilmer Woolbright Jr. (Shalinda)  three grandsons, Alonzo Robinson, Demarcus Mckenzie, Savion Woolbright; five granddaughters, Lacorra Woolbright, Lakeshia Love, Tiffany Love, Dominque Plummer (Tuck), Tatyana Woolbright; twenty-one  great grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews that she love and cherished.
