Mother Janie L. Johnson It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother Janie L. Johnson. She was a cherished member of our community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mother Janie L. Johnson native of Douglas, Georgia expired on August 31, 2023, at her residence. Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Young’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Douglas, Georgia. The interment service will follow immediately in Sunnyside Cemetery, Douglas, Georgia. She will be on view to the public Friday, September 8, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 PM. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral and interment will be available for viewing on YouTube (Jarrell E. Mack) and later uploaded to Facebook. Your presence and support during this difficult time would mean the world to our family. Let us come together to celebrate the extraordinary legacy of our Mother Janie Johnson.
